Can anyone with a Rocky Mountain logo on hard copy printed material do me the favour and scanning it at a really hi res and forwarding it to me?

I'd like to replicate the logo and rebadge my 92 blizzard, as well as maybe using it to print other stuff. :wink:

And does anyone know what font was used?

Have you tried asking Bagpipes to help you? I don't know if he has a 92 Blizzard, but he reproduces early RM decals.

yep, i've contacted him. he said he had a buddy of his create them for him. not sure if i'll be able to get the artwork. but bagpipes said he'll ask and see what he can do for me regarding replacement decals.

anyway, rebuilding the logo artwork is something i want to do. it's a good creative exercise for me! :wink:

Now I would like to get hold of these as well.

Crayons (I think) or some other RM-nutter™ made some and some low res one's are posted here in Retro Chat (sometime between now and about a year ago*) to narrow it down.

Gil_m of course has these and can and has reproduced these. I thin it even includes the 'performance paints' logo that may have been on your '92 bikes.
I do remember photo-ing the fork logo as well some time ago.

* found them

Thanks FC, as always you are a big help. Hmm, Crayon seems to have built up some decent looking replicas.

Anyway, I have fairly decent scans given to me which I compiled for the 91 catalogue I uploaded in the past so I'm using that for now. But it would be great to get even higher res of the logo. I'm also using one of my RM jersey that has a super large logo on it front & back as additional reference.

Wish I knew where my own catalogue(s) went. I remember having at least one if not two BITD. :(

But anyway, here's what I've got done so far. ;)

thanks, i got the new version of the logo a while back. and although very similar, they are not the same mountains. i did a visual comparison of the logos on a new and old logo version jerseys, and there are subtle but distinguishable differences. :wink:

got around to replicating very accurate sizing/spacing to match decals on the '92 stratos and cirrus.

does anyone have measurements on a steel frame? curious if the smaller diameter steel tubes, as opposed to the aluminum, merited smaller decals.

what i have is exactly 486mm bottom left edge of "R" to bottom right edge of the "N" (or top as they are the same measurements) and 19mm squared/perpendicular measure of the height of the font. all measurements are single line, not including the solid drop shadow, which i measured to be offset 2mm.
