Hi thanks for the info on the Glacier models! Yes with the west point cycles sticker it makes sense that it was a local bike
i will work on finding some period corrrect DX canti's and 3x7 speed shifters
in the mean time i've put a good 60 lm or so on it and it's a great ride

I may have a set of DX canti's I possibly will be listing, as well as the 3x7 shifters. I'll let ya know if I decide to part with them if you are interested.

here's some more details on this bike
wolber AT-18's on dx hubs
mountain LX front derailleur DX on the rear
frame has ritchey dropouts
chain stays seem fine
minor paint wear no dings or dents
has a west point cycle decal which over the years i see on the majority of old rocky's out here
stem is original
fork is in great shape
ritchey seat post , original Rocky anatomic saddle ! a bit worn but very restorative
only drawback - have to get rid of the shifters brakes (thought they work well on this bike ) and make it 100 % original
last owner added some sweet panaracer gravel king tan wall tires 2.1" perfect for all the local trails
so just a blizz dressed up as a classy Eu girl but i like it

I've got one of these. A friend and I bought them back in the day when we were both in Denver. Mine got a first edition Manitou elastomer fork, he went with the OEM Synchros, but used an elastomer sprung stem. My fork decomposed to a soft epoxy internally and was replaced with a far too long RockShox.

As can be seen it is used as a tow vehicle these days, having graduated from pulling a trailer for our grandson to this "Wiggle-Wagon" set-up. In the early days of this bike, I towed his mom and a friend of hers up Vail pass a few times.
