ZASKAR: to repair or wave goodbye?

Well here we are 10 years later, a lot greyer but I’ve still got the ‘Zaskar’ and the 29er. I fitted the Zaskar frame out with some cheap wheels and solid forks and used it as spare bike but the time has come to part with it after 30 years so I’ll put it for sale in the next few days.

I’m still unsure of it’s place in the Zaskar pantheon. The frame was supplied to me by GT Cheltenham in the late 90’s as a replacement for a different one. It appears to be Taiwan made. Here’s some pics, any ideas? It’s been a good bike ridden and carried over a large portion of rural Cornwall.
