I've got one of the hubs that seems to be made for the universal disc brake adapter, but there appears to be a piece on it that makes it fit into a 135mm spacing. It doesn't fit amazingly and on a second glance the wheel is spaced a bit off to one side but it is correctly spaced when it's in there.. not sure if it's a bodge job done by someone or a piece that is/was useful?
I want to run it on a frame with a disc tab attached (no need for retro fit). Any ideas if this will work fine as it is? Or if I need to get something to fix it like changing the axle etc.?
The spider also needs replacing if anyone has one to offer as the previous owner seems to have damaged it cutting out seized bolts

Dumb question about Hope Ti rear hub spacing
I just bought a rear wheel with hope Ti hub and when I went to fit it I discovered the dropouts didn't meet the axle. If you look at the photos the axle is recessed behind the line of the disk rotor - it would need to be another 15mm at a guess for the dropout to sit on it nicely. What am I...
