interesting bikes for sure. i wonder how much of the hans rey one is original hans spec. little things, like the fact ahead wasn't around in 91 so really have doubts about the stem and bars. and surely hans would have been given XT not DX etc etc

Surely they mean prototype was from 1990 or earlier, since Zaskar was in the 91 catalogue !
Hence the possible eariler spec.

If you watch the video I posted above which I believe shows this bike you can make out a few differences just
at a glance.
