After my wife's confession of never having changed gear on her by nu nu (fnar fnar!) I though it time to rebuild it removing the excess weight that was redundant! Theme is er... Red?! Coming together nicely!

Big gearing though - I take it that there are no hills anywhere near you?

4th bike for her now, all others were either badly set up or the wrong size. This one just needs a damper cartridge in the forks, and the rear wheel axle sorted and it's good to go.

Here's some pics of my wife's Trek that she has owned since new. I'm not sure of the year maybe '93 or '94? It is all original except for the pedals and front wheel skewer. The tires even have the little molding thingies on them. Spec is pretty much all Alivio with STX rear mech. Dog is KONA.
