Steel

My Sadoff Lobster is a blast to ride. Flexi, zingy and whippy. I guess thats a quality steel frames virtues. It is still relatively light and more importantly rides lighter than it is(if that makes any sense.)

My Dean Ti has amazing dampening of trail buzz etc and is all day comfy but if you needed a repair in the middle of nowhere you'd be knackered!

Aluminium frames look cool with the fat tubes, and for me usually the bigger frames don't look "gangly" like stell or Ti. The ride though is really harsh, I suppose thats why I went to steel.

Carbon woudn't suite me I'm 6'3" and weigh nearly 16 stone and because I now work in the plastic polymer industry I know there are many things that can go wrong within the manufacturing process that can affect the longevity, stregnth, ductility and suppleness of a frame.

I voted for steel..............................
