What is a TIMAX bicycle

I am looking at a titanium bike on ebay on which the only decal says TIMAX. Is this a Serotta? Does anybody know anything about them?

IIRC Timax were made in Russia from a type of titanium alloy not used in the West, and were one of the first able to produce butted Ti frames.
I believe they were supposed to ride really well.

Regarding Serotta… the Ti Max was a model in their MTB range, but has nothing to do with the brand TIMAX

Have you a link to this bike on eBay? I will be able to to tell you if it is a legit Timax titanium from 1994.
