What can a £50-£70 budget frame&forks get me?

I sold my beautifully repainted 1994 Marin Pine Mtn frame for all of £5.68 on ebay.

Nobody here wanted it.

Plenty of choice sub-£75, especially in larger sizes.

I picked up a 3.4lb Univega Alu frame on ebay for £20 in December for my wife.
