Saracen were very good at this, another example being the monocoque frames, the hardtails would sell rebadged for £199 whilst the full suspension frames, we would retail under our own names for £249.00
for me the icing on the cake was TIOGA, due to this being spec"d on there bikes, they would always sell O/E equipment and bulkbuy knockdown prices, from Cube stems, to the longer tioga saddles, and the Tioga D/H tyres, in the end we could retail this stuff, for less money than official dealers could buy it for.
