I used one of these on an old Kona frame to allow use of V-brakes, since used it on an old Hardrock frame too.

Nice one, cheers @jimo746. They look fairly decent. Did you keep the noodle or grind it off? I don't like the idea of it still stuck to the frame if it's empty

I left the cable noodle there, I guessed I'd cause more harm than good by trying to remove them.
