Hey everyone,

I acquired this today, it was local-ish so I took the plunge and went to view it. I believe it's had 1 owner from new. Comments are welcomed ;)

Re: Todays purchase.

My mate had one of these and I had a Lizard.
Could do with some bigger bar ends

Re:

Totally original condition :)

The bar ends are akin to tri-bars, they'll be removed and new sponge grips fitted.

Then a clean up.

Raleigh Lizards were  too.

Wow !!

I've noticed mundane bikes are going for silly money on eBay at the moment. I saw a Carrera Subway with busted gears and bottom bracket go for £85!

That seatpost is right down like my freebie Moonrun was. I wonder if it moves?

From what I can gather this bike is circa 1988. I've not tried moving the seatpost as yet but steel on steel should, hopefully, be easier to unseize if needed.

I actually bought 2 bikes from the seller but I went there just to buy this

I know ebay is crazy prices, I stay well away

Re:

That Lizard needs loads doing to it, £20 tops imo.

I'm unsure about fitting alloy wheels to the Mustang due to the rather weighty nature of it

Other than some grips and a service it needs very little.
