Personally never heard of a Flite Titanium seat post.

I do believe the item is legitimate but as a youngster it was out way out my financial grasp
I'd never heard of one before but my googling turned up a few images including a carbon version. Appears to be a legit product from Selle Italia

Flite (Selle Italia) made both Titanium and Carbon versions of this seat post, very beautiful design. If you are buying it just to try and turn a profit NO it is not going to appreciate that much in value, however if you want to love it and fit it and covet it, then it is not a bad price many Ti posts go for this sort of price.

A guy I knew BITD got a carbon one and the first day he got it put a massive scratch on it, boy was he pissed off...

Personally I think they were made under license by Selcof, also I seem to remember they carried a massive price tag back then as well.

No it's to buy for myself for life but a lot of money if someone steals it with my flight saddle attached that's my concern

The flight saddle to me is just a joy to look at and own its a beautiful design
Yep, my all time favorite saddle, beautiful and comfortable
And would look very nice supported by this seatpost
