Be gentle with me, it's my first time using thumbies.....
Well kind of thumbies, they are dura ace bar end shifters mounted on jtek (I think) mounts. The problem I'm having is that in certain gears the lever is taking up valuable hand grip space. I've moved them inboard quite a way and I'm wondering if this is normal to have them quite a way in from the ends of the handlebar. Is there an optimum thumbie position I need to be aware of?
