The NW&NW Area: General Chat Thread

Managed to ride some of the Clwyds route today. Most of it is OK, a couple of fields that we need to go through are quite muddy but it is rideable. I just need to firm up a date.

Same here, breathe in some clean Welsh air for a change... :D

Fingers crossed the date doesn't clash with an Everton home game........

Re:

Right then chaps. It's been awfully quiet on here lately.

As such I'm going to organise a ride. It's icon-o-classic this weekend, Gospel Pass road ride next weekend and the Lake District on the 4th and 5th October.

So I'm going to suggest Sunday 28th September for a Macclesfield Forest/Cat and Fiddle/Three Shire Heads MTB ride.
I'll put up an announcement soon.

Re:

I'm going to go ahead and organise another ride in the next few weeks. Looking at the 6th or 7th December. Probably Hayfield area or maybe south of Buxton.

Any takers?

Possibly, due to length etc.

Probably somewhere between 15 and 20 miles perhaps. About 4 or 5 hours in total.
The days are short and cold at the moment.

I've a couple of routes in mind. Both very nice, both featuring cafe stops.
