How do I get some of my friends & family (who earn just about or in some cases under the National average wage) that Liz Truss is mugging them off?

But conservatives are the only ones who can be trusted to run the economy, labour would just tax and spend.

But seriously, I've no idea why people who are struggling would vote for a party whose ideology is to shrink the state, cropping key services to the point where they can no longer exist, sell off national assets that would generate long term income, and give the wealthy free reign to exploit labour and capital for their own profit.

And yes that's an Oxford comma, it was necessary.

I would take a three pronged approach..

1) Softly-softly.. Point them in the direction of economic justice campaigner Richard Murphy of Sheff uni.. he speaks a lot of sense.

If that fails.. make a short compilation film of the last 12yrs of tory rule and take option..

2) Clockwork Orange (keeping things forum-specific)


If this fails the only option left is..

3) Waterboarding..
