Team Marin build thread

And some building too. Mounted an LX headset, with some STX RC parts. Marin Lite fork is build in, Marin Lite brakes mounted (with the original Ritchey pads) and front and rear mech mounted.

Red derrailleur pulleys with NOS pulley bolts in blue. Removed a red ano break away bolt, cause it had to much play. Man I don't like to refit those things :?

When the spokes arrive I can build my wheels and it will start to look like a bike

splendid!

i will check for updates. this is a marin i know a thing or two about.

keep the chainring bolts in, a nice blue that you have elsewhere on the bike.
the chain-line is quite close to the frame say, 107-110mm. what length have you installed?

cheers rio.

marc.

The bike had very few miles on it when I bought it, so I re-installed the original one. Forgot what the length is to be hounest...

I also have blue spoke nipples and blue derr. pulley bolts (NOS).
Í also have some red ano parts, but I am not sure about using them. They might look cool with the US flag colour of the frame badge (blue / red ano  ).

thanks for the imput!

Original BB axle length for a team was 113mm :D I have a team frame im about to build up but as a single speed (blasphamy i know) for commuting to work on.
