SRAM Eagle "Transmission"

As someone who does some pretty gnarly enduro stuff and has ripped off a fair few derailleurs and bends hangers on a regular basis the new Sram stuff is a step in the right direction. Granted the price is eye watering but it will eventually come down as it gets to be OEM on new bikes. 11 and 12 speeds go out of sync really easily and the position of the Derailleur is critical. Sram introduced the Universal hanger a few years ago knowing that there new system was coming. I would say for 99% of bikes this is overkill but when you need a reliable shift at the critical moment I can appreciate where they are coming from. Lets not criticise innovation because isn't that what the early 90's was about in Mountain biking...trying stuff to improve performance

Quite nice non mainstream website review here.
Yes you need the new Universal mech hanger setup, been around for a while and they say most bike now use it.
Not for us oldies with old bikes.
