good work mm.

nice to see that the spinergy hub is shimano friendly! i think shimano do 2 types of fitment and , ritchey is differerent again. a couple of times i have robbed out a freehub body to realise it wont fit .

by the same token shimano m570LX will fit m750XT. if you need to reinstate that xt hub without messin' with the spinergy. m570 is good stuff too and, cheap-ish.

thanks mm.

will a Shimano FH-M565LX (Deore 8 speed) work?

So i found a very cheap Shimano 600 Hub:

the guy says it had a 9 speed cassette on it..
but Sheldon says:

Shimano 600 - Became 600EX when indexing was introduced, 600 Ultegra (Gray finish) when 7-speed added. When it became an 8-speed group, the 600 designation still existed, but it was usually referred to as just "Ultegra". With the '98 model year, 9-speeds came in and the "600" designation was completely dropped from Ultegra.

so it must be an 8 speed freehub right??

taken the campy cassette and freehub off.. what next?

The forum software doesn't like some URLS. Don't use the [ url ] tags, it should work then.

Thanks john.

Right you should just need to remove the freehub from your donor hub and thread it onto your spinergy wheel hub...just a matter of fiddling with the donor cones and spacing then...
