I haven’t done a long ride for a while, so I took the 6am train from Woking this morning to New Milton in the New Forest. I then rode back to Woking Just under 90 miles in a little under 5 hours. A great ride.

Not had a lot of bike time this year due to small kids and general life getting in the way. The last long one I did was London to the Goodwood Revival, which is about 50 miles. Last few times I’ve done it I’ve been in 60s period gear on my fixed gear 1938 Parkes Lightweight. Usually leave around 4:30-5am to get down there in good time! Doubt I’ll be fit enough to do it this year but you never know.
