If the seat post is the correct size ,
( I've bought a new bike in the past that's had the wrong one from supplier)
A tried and tested bodge is to butcher a coke tin and shim the post, not tried fanta or sprite but should work the same :D
 
put bare aluminum in a ti frame and the first thing that happens is it wil bond after a while....copper slip or some other method was always used ....so just dont do anything ...after a while its not going anywhere.ps i used paper on a use seat post in a steel frame for 3 years with no probs at all.
 
Tins are coated, that's why your lips don't go black :D
Always use grease on any post, unless it's carbon, and I'm not getting drawn into that argument :!:
