If Gibble is serious about the paper, then I'd say to him don't ever do that. Paper will hold moisture, and between a titanium frame and an aluminum post, moisture is bad, very bad. :shock: Paper has no place on a bicycle.

If the seat post is the correct size ,
( I've bought a new bike in the past that's had the wrong one from supplier)
A tried and tested bodge is to butcher a coke tin and shim the post, not tried fanta or sprite but should work the same

put bare aluminum in a ti frame and the first thing that happens is it wil bond after a while....copper slip or some other method was always used ....so just dont do anything ...after a while its not going anywhere.ps i used paper on a use seat post in a steel frame for 3 years with no probs at all.
