Show us your slick tyred MTBS

Rob81....
They are Continental Avenue 1.3" I think...
Ace tyre, had them years ago for ages and wore them to the canvas, then spotted a set on a job lot on here for sale a year or so ago
I'd love another set, but am running some Specialized Fatboys now

Re:

was going to start a new thread about mtb's on slicks and looking like supermoto's then stumbled across this old thread after a search so thought I'd try and revive it! :)

Changed to schwalbe city jet 1.5's for commuting but really like how it looks! I think its going to be a hoot and good fun as an urban assault weapon! :)

A jake would suit you betterer.

 Subtle!
My brother warned me off getting a rodie unfortunately, cause you can't really be a hooligan when you need to be. (Hopping kerbs etc). He recently sold his road bike after hardly riding it!

Re:

98' Lava Dome wearing Michelin Wild Run'r 26x1.1 slicks. It's pretty quick :D

All your bikes are awesome. I think MTB's look cool with slick tyres. Like tough little racing bikes :p

My Team Marin wearing Marathon Racer's. Pretty quick and lots of grip (on road)

Coventry Eagle Ghost with Marathon Plus's. You can leave the puncture repair kit at home with these tyres ;). A bit heavy though.

I use slickish tyres because they're faster on road, and most places I ride off road are hard packed dirt/gravel.
