On a positive note got the paint on the Clunker done, turned out no bad

Just solved the steerer mystery, the Indys i bought for the GT (steerer on the right) are 1.1/4, the 1" forks i bought for the E3 are 1.1/8"

Hard to tell at a glance the Indys are 1.1/4 as the steerer is so long.

So thats the forks listed as 1" turned out to be 1.1/8 and the forks listed as 1.1/8 are really 1.1/4.

Honestly getting sick of buying duff and unsuitable bits :roll:

Anyone want a pair of mint 1.1/4 IndyC's :roll:

top tube is more important and I know they are hard to measure wi the sloping top tube- looking for 23 inch effective think 18 19 inch might work :?

That is very kind- I had a lava dome (same colour as your explosiv project) and I did think it was very nice handling bike so am a bit of a convert anyway- think I need a green one like yours but will need to get rid of a bike or two first
