What are those weird brake levers ??
Amused by the imitation wood grips :)
The levers are superb - Dia Compe 290 - bought them off scant last week, had never seen anything quite like before, lovely looking things.

Well it is a Stumpjumper, a bit of wood (even if it is fake) seems fitting :)

saw this last night ,and all i can say is it will burn a bit easier with those
wooden grips on

a seriously lovely bike ,a credit to you arron

Methinks this needs to be someones signature

stunning bike and glad you liked it last night- I really love it and esp love the levers, pure class (however must say the saddle is honking  )

have you sprayed the suntour canti's too? looks cool, glad I'm not the only one who is pants at brake set up.

Nah, they came in that colour, which obviously worked out quite well since they match the levers.

I think I miss the flexstem - the bike really felt quite different on Friday night to how I remembered, but still not sure if it's because I haven't ridden rigid in a couple of months, or if the length and angle of the syncros stem isn't quite what it should be. Further tweaking required I think.
