The seatpost on my RC200 (see pics in my signature link) only has about 4" within the bike - is this too little?

Thats still not enough, it WILL crack the seat tube top. The other point that is rarely mentioned is the depth of the seat collar clamp! Seperate clamps that are deeper in section and bolt up like Salsa(16mm) also help. The narrow Hope bolt up ones are too shallow and give little support, the Hope QR ones are fine tho being deeper.elite504":2kt1s551 said:Ditto kev.
