They're not disc specific, as they also have a machined rim brake strip, so U could run V's or Maguras if you wished.

Yes but you couldn't get disc specific only rims when these wheels/hubs were put together. I disagree again, silver edge blends in brilliantly well with the mech, shifters etc.

Great looking bike.
I like the look of the SRAM shifters. Do you think those shifters could shift a 7 speed cassette correctly, too? Or will the only work with an 9 speed set up for some gear-transmission-ratio-reason i am not aware of?

I would put on some orange Oury grips. They would look nice on it.
And if you really want to change to some orange tyres as well the Magics would have a good home with me. ;-)
