Risers or flats for a '94 Zaskar LE?

Can't decide. Trying to get an idea of period correct choices that are available now.

Are Azonics later on? What handlebars were made in '94 that you'd see on the front of a Zaskar?
Flat or riser. I'll get both because I like the ride characteristics of either but they have to be 'right' for the year and the bike don't they..

Nothing wrong with the standard black 'GT' handlebar but any other choices come to mind?

I had World Force bars and an Azonic stem on mine in '95.

If risers are needed to make it a comfortable enough ride for you then go for them, otherwise falts.

Risers for me too. I had Club Roost risers on my '94 Karakoram. A much needed change/improvement from the Brahma (?) bars that came with it.

Risers are more comfortable for general easy riding. However, in my experience, they shifted my body weight back making it plow a bit in fast technical single track.

A flat bar will bring your weight a bit more over the front tire improving traction and precision, but can lead to increased lower back and neck discomfort.

So it depends on how you're gonna ride it.
