Its worth getting it right as it will affect how the bike rides by quite a bit, I was running a HT designed to work with 120mm forks. The fox forks that were on it were 120mm travel and had an a-c length of 490, you want your rigid forks to be at the sagged height of the suspension fork so in my case that would be approx 20mm(sag) reduction in a-c length.

It took me ages to find the right set of forks as I wanted a 470mm a-c and a 15mm bolt thru axle, in the end I got a set off these guys and they have been perfect for over a year of quite rough treatment.

Just put down a deposit on a DeKerf titanium rigid fork! Chris DeKerf suggested AC of 455 and 45 offset.

I had a Saracen Kili Titanium which came with 120mm fox forks, the a to c on those was 590mm so I wanted to replace them with something about the length of them in the sagged position. Assuming 20% sag to get to about 570mm for a rigid fork to be comparable.

Having already bought some carbon rims off these guys and being suitably impressed I went with a set of their 27.5 rigids.

Used and raced them for about 4 years until I eventually sold the bike and they were rock solid throughout.

Would happily run another set.
