I recently bought a 2006 Kona Explosif frame and plan to build up as a rigid bike. I've seen a Lynskey carbon/alu gravel style fork on ebay with axle to crown height of 397mm for £60. Is this too short for the Explosif frame? It's got 52mm clearance for 700c tyred so able to fit fat 26" or 27.5" tyred too.
I have a similar era Kona Kula with 420mm Carbon Exotic fork and P2s on my old Kona AA seem to be 420mm too. Am running both with 20mm spacers under stem.
Appreciate any thoughts on this. For £60 I'm tempted to give it a try.
