I dont think the bike is sitting side on in the pic,

Looks like the front end is pointing away slightly, creating the illusion of a slacker h/angle

Aye, I think the angle is deceiving, the 224 has the same HA as my 223, at 64', though the evo has an extra +/- 1', so it's probably sitting at 63', so fairly slack still!

I see! Yeah still pretty slack! Thought it would have been a bit steeper for them. Guess if it rides well though... Probably too slow for my liking.

Depends what the track is like i guess, they can be steepened/raised or slackened/lowered with the shock shuttle. 64' is pretty good for a downhill bike though. I think the Mondraker Summum is something silly like 61'?!
