Rear wheel question for 1994 Diamond Back Apex

I need a new rear wheel for my 1994 Diamond Back Apex. I am new to this and am not sure what all information is needed. It is a 21-speed and has V-brakes. I am looking for an inexpensive option that will be compatible. Thanks

My '93 ( '92? ) had black LX hubs on mid-range Mavic rims. Hope this helps.

I might actually have a rear wheel from an Apex. I had a build going on and was going or spec but frame was too small. Sold the frame and parts but still have the wheels I think.

What's on yours currently?
