Rear derailleur query/help

Hello. I'm just wondering if I can hang like a Suntour AR rear derailleur on my old Apollo Legend given the current SIS I have on comes with a kind of built in hanger to the derailleur. Would this limit what I can hang on the rear of my bike?

Learning as I go here.

Usually you can unscrew the derailleur from the hanger adaptor and reuse it with the Suntour mech. Failing that, such things are available.

Use your bolt from your derailliuer to attatch to hanger. Use your own Wheelnut to secure on Rear Axle.
