Thanks, this frame came with an 80mm Judy or Indy iirc and these forks are suspension corrected for 100mm.
So they are a little higher than supposed to be, but when you look at the chain stays they are still descending to the BB.

All that said, I love it. Something different and with a bit of individual style. Gets my vote.
Cosmetically I absolutely agree but this is the only stem that hits exactly the right spot for riding in the bars.
Any other height or angle makes my back hurt, I tries a lot of stems and spacers before I got to this setup.
And the reason I built it is to ride it a lot, so no compromise for the looks with this one :D
Edit: regarding to the direct and twitchy steering, it is direct, but not to much.
