Project: Shed(s)

Illness meant I lost a good chunk of summer, so progress was halted. My boss was kind enough to give me a chippy for a few days to help push it on. I've not seen it yet but he sent me a few pics

Looks amazing. What a nice boss you have! Love the cladding on the wall and it will sure be cosy in there with the mini wood burner! 😍

Nice overhang on the roof to keep the worst of the weather away. I bet you can’t wait to see it! 👍💪

That's looking good, recycled pallets to clad the inside? Nice touch! Can I steal some of your design ideas? Hope your feeling better to 'move in' and start enjoying the space!

Thanks :) Yep, broken down pallets for a couple of the walls, kept warm (hopefully) with a load of recycled bags of insulation, which came from above an MF ceiling we stripped out at work. I might get to see it in person next week, fingers crossed.

Did a bunch of rearranging in the garage so I have a bit of shelter for winter lounging IMG_20231103_111256780.jpg
Bikes are all snuggled in to one end to make room for seating IMG_20231103_114751282.jpg
The bricks are temporary to flatten the rolled up carpet ends. Nuttin but class

Nice big garage :) All timber, inside and out?

That swing chair looks a nice place to rest...

... assorted bike bits/tools/clothes

My sales threads aren't doing to well at the moment so I've been favouring the new shed over clearing out the old one. Not much progress but I found time to finish insulating the last wall and get the chipboard sub-floor down. Pics for @widowmaker, to try and show off the pallet clad walls a bit better. The next step is plasterboarding the last wall before taping and jointing.
