Proflex 857 project

Moo

Retro Newbie
Hi all,

new here, I've recently acquired an old Proflex 857 from my mate who's relocating.
I'm not sure whether to keep it and build it up or pass it on to someone who'll appreciate it more than me.

It's got some interesting bits on, notably a disc brake mount which I'm told was made at Hope as an employee there had it before my mate bought it.

Anyway I'm in the process of stripping and cleaning it, so just thought I'd share it with you all and see what you think!

did the 857 originally have the carbon rear end?

anyway, it looks like it's been built well with some nice bits
