Interesting point... Not as clear cut as i thought.

I don't believe that is a far post to demonstrate with.
That was in a different style and ethos of site.
That was Retrobike when people wanted truly retrobikes, proper builds and modern bikes just didn't really get posted.
There was no 'date split' setup.

HotRodding (as I think it was called) was an interesting thing to do and was about as 'modern' as it got.


Standards have slipt now and it's more inclusive and relaxed.
Just stick to your dates (wheather I agree with the split date or not, it's what we have)
In my opinion Andys would easily get to stay in the <97 section now but then it was too much off a shock.

It will only have ended up in the 98+ as somebody trawled through OffTopic and moved them when the split was eventually made.

Personally letting 'modern' bike in any of the retro sections shouldn't be done, but it's not my site.
