Basically..

Where the wheel fits onto your fork. The glue can go bad, making it come free of it's bond too the Carbon. Making it spin or fall off.. Making for a nice YBF video.. ;)

The entire silver piece at the bottom of the fork is the dropout.

Spinny dropouts are quite common and can cause the fork to twist which can wreck the later XCS alloy brace which is also bonded on and can come unbonded too (the tube brace is a bit stronger). All usually fixable though.

I will post a pic of the original bonding jig set up later.
 
:LOL: it used to go into an oven for full treatment!!

This is the last remaining RC35 bonding jig, all the others were skipped. It takes 3 forks after they were glued up and was then slid into an oven with about 8 other jigs to speed up the curing of the glue.
