A little bit more done today to the Pace. Managed to get a 1” Controltech stem. Ok, so not what I ultimately wanted but it will suffice for now. Also popped the recently purchased wheels on too. It’s slowly getting there.

And to be honest with it, its better than the pictures lead to believe, and what I had heard about it.

Ok, so its never going to be a concours build anyway, and this wouldn't be the frame for that.

The BB issue, I'm happy with for now in fairness, I'm not going to risk cracking a frame that isn't, its usable, thats the main thing for me,

So, after 26 years, of yearning a Pace frame since I first saw one at 14, here is my new purchase!

That looks like an F3 seat clamp as the clamps on the F4 / F5 were a slimmed done rounded design.

The correct one is now fitted as that was broken.

A quick update of parts that have recently arrived for the build. I had to pop them on today as I’m getting itchy feet, and I was feeling up to it. Reason being, is that I have recently had to start Dialysis again as my Kidney Transplant has unfortunately taken a turn for the worse. Such is life!

Thanks! Yeah, it was always inevitable as a transplant isn’t forever. I just had a spate of stupid infections and pneumonia last November that did a bit too much damage to it unfortunately. Such is life eh! It’s 4 year today since I had it too.
