The 2023 Malverns has a lot to answer for!!!!

After going there on the friday,i couldn't help being drawn into the retrobike area which was full of great bikes on show, but, one brand i wanted to show my son was Pace, having raced on one of these bitd with the Royce uk factory team.
That following weekend i spent hrs searching for a pace frame and happened to find an rc200 f5 on ebay. The deal was done and a few days later it arrived. Upon unboxing things didn't look ok. It had a broken seat tube clamp and the bb seemed stuck. Luckily, the seller said he'd give a refund so the search was on again!
This time a wanted ad i put on the facebook Pace group came up trumps....i was offered an 18" f4 frame which after checking the serial number was my old frame i sold 10 years ago!!!

I have a great build planned using as many british parts as i can in true 90s anodised fashion!!
Loads of Parts have arrived so hopefully it'll turn out great😍 20230929_162234.jpg 20230929_162408.jpg 063124E6-B2BC-4A2D-8B49-A8F8720A7A11.jpeg

Wow! What are the chances of being reuinited with your old frame like that?
I see a lot of Red ano coming!

Had a bit of free time this morning so on to stage 2...tension and true!!

After watching the Park video on youtube,i set to the task...and was surprised how the turned out.
Both side to side within 0/0.5mm
Up and down within 1mm

I'm going to leave them as they are as i don't want to start making them worse!!

I couldn't wait to see how they looked so on they went....😍 20231021_125549.jpg 20231021_125739.jpg

Looking great, love the red and silver together. I am jealous though:mad:, my wife would never let me bring a bike into the house to build!
