Overburys Pioneer - American Pickers re-birth

Here she is, hasn't seen daylight in a long time.
No longer in blue/pink but it is under there! I'm pretty sure the silver could be removed with thinners and wire wool, I've done this to a 1961 VW splitscreen I own with pretty good results and that had been resprayed quite a few times not just once like the bike.

Now that's a project :D

Mine was in a similar state when I got it and needed gutting, yours is all there though and could be easily brought back to life with a bit of time, effort and as little or more cash as you want.

I would recommend a new chain though.

Great story, and similar to my own, except that I started on a Dawes Cougar before graduating to the Overburys. And like it's been said - there's a lot of love on here for Overburys. So go on, get it going again. It'll cost you lots of time, lots of money. But it is soooo worth it!
