Orange Prestige - Retro Hope Disc Conversion - For Sale

Re: Orange Prestige - Updated 24 Feb - Now back from paint

Getting there:

I need a bigger bottom bracket, a shorter stem and the seat post needs a quick ream but other than that it's pretty much there currently it's tipping the scales at 26 lbs so it's gained a little weight from new.

Re: Orange Prestige - Updated 28 Feb - Finished(ish)

Finished:

Well almost, I just need to get the down tube reamed as the seat post is very tight but I've found somewhere that can do it for me tomorrow morning whilst I'm trail building.

Here's a few piccys:

Re: Orange Prestige - Updated 26 Feb - Now started assembly

It looks great. It makes me want to get a move on with my '92 purple/orange one.

Without wishing to be pedantic though, the mechs are m737.

Cheers, good luck with your build, your right on the mechs, I'll update the spec sheet according.

That's a stunner.

Having owned a few Orange bikes and always having had a bit of a soft spot for the brand, I have to say that I think that is the nicest fade paint job I've ever seen on one.

Orange should clearly have offered a blue white fade because it looks excellent.

Thanks, this is my forth Orange and the oldest. The colour scheme was no accident, I deliberately wanted something that was 180 degrees out on the colour wheel to Orange decals to make them 'pop' and I think it's worked.
