I'm not quite ready for the black dog thread, but Jeebus... need to vent.

The weather is driving me nuts - I've been unable to do anything I've wanted/needed for the last few months. Those few thing's I've tried to get done haven't gone to plan - projects just not 'working' as they should, leading to much wasted time & frustration.

Planned some work on the car today as the weather report said there was a 10% chance of rain. they missed a zero off that.

The wife is away with work making me realise how small my world is without her.

etc. etc.

Worst. Rant. Ever.

Listening to music is more enjoyable that mtb ing. I've found that the hifi had been missing due to life taking me to places I didn't want. Now it's back it gives me more than cycling ever did. Think the time has come to kick cycling in to touch. Two years earlier than I planned (60)

@tintin40 Ironically, one of the projects that has been massively hindered by the weather is my car stereo install. listening to the standard setup is killing me.

don't get me started on the rain - went to the Moto GP yesterday and got soaked, sat in the stand shivering half to death ..... in August !

and today I went for a ride out an ended up having to ride through a flood under a railway bridge - soaked two days on the bounce
