Interesting chainset for a bike of that age. Big ring looks huge!

I reckon the chainset probably accounts for about 10% of the weight of the bike! 8kg doesn't sound that light for a carbon TT bike with carbon wheels to me?

Well it was a little under 8 I just rounded it down but I got some carbon Athena power torque cranks which will probably be half as light!!

However there are a few places where weight can be improved. Hopefully can get it under 7

Like cutting the seatpost, change stem, maybe some drillium in places, lighter tyres etc.
