Yesterday I took it for the first proper ride since I got it, and it might even been the first proper ride in 30 years as it shows hardly any wear
We had a nice retroride with 10 other retro lovers, with a lot of singletracks.
The Muddy was a joy to ride, first of all because it really rides like new, so smooth!
It is very comfortable, with the more up right position and wide handlebars with backsweep.
I hadn't prepared it since I bouht it other then changing tires, and it held up great.
Only thing is the axle came a little loose and needs some grease.
So a very nice maiden ride, there will be a lot more I hope.
Totday I took it for a ride on maybe the last summer day of the year.
I like this ride so much! I'll give it a very good clean and polish in the winter, it should look new!
Not home yet
will take several weeks as I am using some friends help.
But amusing as pretty rare and with its TA crankset and long cage Sachs Huret New Success rear derailleur, , rather representative of the start of the MTB scene , using road or rather touring components
