Mr.T's Gazelle

Re:

Very slick looking bike. Seatpost looks a mile long though.

Received a call from my framesmith yesterday, it's repaired and waiting for me to pick it up!!

Seat Tube repair

Picked up the frame today, looks like a nice repair!

I also spent a little time and removed the fender mount from the rear sub-frame. Still needs a little smoothing over but bike is progressing.

I have no idea how it could be strong enough.

Maybe the rear suspension takes some of the impact that would normally be directed in this area? In any case it seems to work.

Re: Mr.T's Defiant

Well it looks a nice tidy repair and yes i do believe the rear shock helps take some of the stress away the seat tube hence the name Shock Absorber's ..

Re:

Nothing major to report, though I have located a proper fitting wheelset.

Next step is to talk to a machinist and have a new oversized pivot axle made, locate some decals, then off to the painters!

Re:

For the decals… ask to Gil_M
He got something you would look for ! ;)

Re:

I also located a proper fitting RD, M900.

So parts are mostly there with the exception of chainrings and chain.

I will contact Gil_M for decals, and get moving!!
