Mountain Cycle San Andreas Rebuild

That has changed a bit. Another USD fork I've not seen before too. What happened to the first "Girvan style" set?
 
Shiny, shiny, red parts.
Properly anodised this time by someone who actually knows what they are doing. Acorn.



Edit to add, the crowns look flat in the photo but everything is brighter and shinier than this photo.

And thus reassembled with extra shiny, plus I put some chainring spacers in and a different set of crankarms which line up better and now it shifts/indexes lovely. Still rides like a peeeeg though that might be me being used to modern geom now.

Opinions sought.
Does y'all think that the red stem and seatpost are a bit too much red?
If so, and silver shiny might be better, what brands would be truer to form? Syncros?
