Hey Guys,

Am in need of some help regarding late 80's Mavic Rims.

I'm in the process of restoring an 87 Raleigh Randonneur Touring Bike and need to source some Mavic Rims for the project (have the right hubs). The 87 Raleigh spec sheet lists the originals as Mavic M3CD hard anodised, but googling this doesn't offer much info....so i'm guessing the M3CD was a Raleigh OEM rim.

My question is, What was/were a good Mavic touring rim in the late 80's?

PS Needs to be anodised black, 700c and 32mm clincher tyre.

Thanks guys

OUCH on the price..lol..but they are the 40h version which are vhtf so prob good value at that, and they do look to be in perfect nick.

The raleigh spec ones are 36h, so i'm hoping they will come in a bit cheaper :)

PS. The hubs i have are 36h.

MA40's are the ones for that period, ive been looking for a set also for ages, getting hard to find the early ones now.
