Out this morning with dogs in woodland. Still, chilly, silent but for the leaves. We are very lucky.

Apologies for it being a daily mail article but I thought a bit of humanity might be a positive thing

I hate stories like that.

I've spent the last month or so helping a charity to save dogs in Tanzania from mistreatment, rabies and worse. The woman who runs the Scottish arm brought one to Scotland which had a leg chopped off by machete. Twice, because the first guy 'didn't do it right'.

As most will know I'm a big believer in personal responsibility but that doesn't stop me taking time out for others, in particular animals who can't ask for help themselves.

Mbwa Wa Africa if anyone fancies throwing them a bone.

This is a positive thread. Please rephrase your comments. I appreciate your passion but hate is not for here.

I snapped a mech riding today

Booooooo

I made my bike a single speed and rode cutgate like that and even got up a steep bit

Still a jolly good ride and made a brew in the carpark

And my spare zee mech works with sram shifters

Balance restored

Happy times
