Last night there was a knock at my door and I was greeted by the Elves (4 and 6) from next door. We had been made a crumble from the apples in their garden, complete with tin of custard, to say thank you for sorting out their little bicycles.

I exchanged it for some old fashioned sweets from the tin I keep for such occasions. Parma Violets, Lovehearts, Refreshers etc

Wasn't that nice?
