Kona sizing

Hi all,

I am looking at a '96 Kilauea frame and the owner says it's a 19" frame. I usually ride 17-18" frames or a medium. I am about 5'9" 30" inseam, a Libra and like long walks on the beach. Do the Kona frames run on the small or big side of things?

Konas of that age seem to have slightly longer top tubes than most others, which is handy for some

I'm 6'4" and am happy on 19" konas over rough stuff, so you might be better on something in the 17/18" dept....unless you're built like Mr Tickle.

I'm 5' 10' and ride a 19" 1998 cindercone, with 120mm stem. It does a have streched racy position but i love it!

I'm 5'11" and I ride a 19" Kona, wouldn't suit someone much shorter though.
